- The M-ACPA Device Drivers & APIs package includes device drivers and
- Application Programming Interfaces of audio and image applications under
- DOS, OS/2 and Windows. Also included is a device driver that supports
- Microsoft's Multimedia Extensions.

- AUDIODD - Device drivers for the M-ACPA for both DOS and OS/2.
- Provides a hardware independent interface for low level
- control of both waveform audio and MIDI. Also provides
- serialization of the M-ACPA so that it can be used in
- multi-tasking environments.

- MAAPI - The Audio Application Programming Interface (AAPI) is a
- set of high level "C" functions intended to allow applications
- to add audio capabilities such as playing and recording
- with a minimum of effort. The AAPI is file oriented and
- supports Audio Visual Connection and Microsoft RIFF
- WAVE file formats. The AAPI supports DOS and OS/2.

- WINDLL - A Windows device driver (DLL) that supports
- Microsoft's Multimedia Extensions.

- JPEG - JPEG (Joint Photography Experts Group) is an industry
- standard for the compression and decompression of
- continuous tone still images. It consists of a baseline
- standard plus extensions. This API supports the baseline
- standard. Supports DOS, OS/2, and Microsoft Windows.

- Follow instructions in README file on Disk 1 to install software on your
- fixed drive. It will require approximately 3 MB of storage.
